バラ、薔薇　 (Rosa)

ローズヒップとは、バラ科の植物につく実のことで、10～11月に収穫の時期を迎えます。赤やオレンジ、もしくは濃い紫色をしており、球形や涙形など見た目は品種によって違います。お尻を意味する「ヒップ」と名前に付いていますが、じつはバラの果実を意味する言葉でもあるんですよ。
