ミモザ 　　　アカシア（Acacia）

ミモザという植物はありません。私たちが思い描くあの黄色いぽんぽんの花は、アカシアの花です。

Mimosaは本来「オジギソウ」の学名。葉っぱがオジギソウに似ていたので、ヨーロッパの人たちは、フサアカシアのことを「ミモザアカシア」と呼ぶようになった。

There is no plant called Mimosa. The yellow pop flower that we envision is an acacia flower.

Mimosa is a scientific name of "Ojigiso" originally. As the leaves resembled oigisou, people of Europe came to call Husa acacia "Mimosa acacia".
