Corylopsis pauciflora ヒュウガミズキ（日向水木）別名：ヒメミズキ

春にもう一歩という頃に見られるのは日向水木とも呼ばれる姫水木です。姫水木の枝は葉が落ちて、まるで魚の小骨のようにお互いに平行に近い距離を保って伸びています。細かくてきゃしゃなその枝にぽちぽちとついている少しだけ先のとがった蕾に、ごく薄い緑がさしているのをみかけることでしょう。
