土佐水木 （とさみずき）  (Spike winter hazel)

開花時期は、 3／ 5 ～　4／ 5頃。

・自生しているのは土佐（高知県）近辺の蛇紋岩地帯のみだが、全国で植栽され

ている。

・日向水木と比べて、一房の花の数が多くて花も大きい。

　おしべの部分は茶色。(開花直後はおしべは赤っぽい。花が開いてくると次第

に茶色くなるようだ）
