ホトケノザ（仏の座、学名: Lamium amplexicaule）

本州,沖縄の畑や道端にふつうに生える。高さ10-30cm。葉は対生し、長さ1-2cmの扇状円形で鈍い鋸歯がある。上部の葉腋に長さ約2cmの紅紫色の唇形花を密につける。ふつうの花より小さく、蕾のまま結実する閉鎖花が多数まじる。 花期は3-6月。（野に咲く花)
